P&O Cruises

Richmond has been appointed by P&O Cruises to lead the design and development of the interiors of their new ship, due to enter service in spring 2015. The as-yet-unnamed 3,611-passenger vessel will be the largest in the P&O Cruises fleet, as well as the largest cruise ship built specifically for the British market. Ushering in an exciting era for P&O Cruises, the ship will offer a stylish and innovative new design and an unprecedented number of passenger facilities, along with many of the brand’s classic and iconic features. P&O Cruises specifically required a British hospitality design company to work with them and commissioned Richmond to deliver an interior celebrating P&O Cruises innovation, style and its rich British heritage spanning 175 years.

Richmond’s interiors will enhance the P&O Cruises brand essence, incorporating their classic and iconic history with modern design and features which reflect the aspirations of their existing passengers along with attracting a new generation of passengers.

Richmond will create designs for the interiors of all the public areas of the ship (including passenger cabin types, restaurants and entertainment areas) to produce a new standard for P&O Cruises and to deliver the ultimate P&O Cruises experience.
