Middleweight FF&E Designer

Richmond International was established in 1966 and has grown to become an industry-leading hospitality interior design practice. Our expertise covers all stages of the process, from master planning and concept design to project co-ordination, documentation and site supervision.

We have refurbished, restored and created for a broad range of clients, from multinational brands to independent owners, luxury hotels and cruise ships.

Whatever the size of the project, it is tailored to its location, historal context and cultural setting. The Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Middleweight FF&E Designer who has true creative flair. This role requires strong conceptual development as well as the drive and ability to see through all the details, such as documenting and producing control books for each area of the project. The Middleweight FF&E Designer will be sourcing, specifying and scheduling the FF&E elements of a project, so must have an excellent knowledge of the industry trends relevant to the luxury sector and be able to reflect these creatively in his/her designs. As part of this, the role requires an extensive international supplier knowledge and strong communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.

The Right Candidate

You will be a dedicated and ambitious designer with a minimum of 4 years of experience working in the luxury hotel sector, specifying FF&E. You will thrive on staying abreast of industry trends and going above and beyond to deliver design solutions that exceed the brief. You will take pride in your work, ensuring the finest attention to detail throughout the process, including producing detailed control books for each interior scheme. This level of detail will be evident in your well-presented portfolio which demonstrates your knowledge of the full process with concepts, sample boards, visuals, specifications, schedules and budgets.
